Provision of food, medical care, clothing, and most important, love and a sense of belonging, go towards making the last years of the lives of the aged residents happier and more comfortable. The Home has no grants of its own and is run with the help that is given by the public charity.
In order to help the Home, DQE Associates donated old clothes and provisions like rice, dals, sugar, tea powder, vermicelli, salt, noodles, tomato sauce, juices, jam, cooking oil etc. A team from DQE - Lakshminarayana, Nagaprasad, Desiree Koolhaas and Sheela Sirish volunteered to deposit the donations at The Home. The Team went around the Home, met some of the inmates and spoke to them about their lives. At the end of the trip, the Team was glad that DQE was able to contribute, even though in a small way, something back to the society.
